On-site vocational training provides important opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to learn important job skills as well as determine what type of work is preferred. Employment in the community is the ultimate goal, as career satisfaction is a key quality-of-life determinant.
Skills and values such as good attendance, hygiene, safety, productivity, quality, work attitudes, and punctuality are all things we strive for.
As every individual has diverse abilities to celebrate and enhance, there are a variety of opportunities for persons served to try, including:
- Packaging and Assembly: Learn all about small parts assembly and packaging products.
- Filters: Learn how to make air filters that are used in industrial air conditioning and heating systems.
- Textiles: Learn to sew, cut, fold, and measure material used as Breather pads for Spirit Aerosystems. For admissions information or to schedule a tour please contact us here (link to contact form) or call 316.383.8700 to speak to our admissions coordinator.
